Cupping (Fire and/or Vacuum

In Cimarron, New Mexico, I offer traditional cupping therapy, an ancient healing practice that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. This technique can be performed using fire or vacuum methods and is known for its ability to promote blood flow, reduce pain, decongest and encourage new blood production enhancing overall well-being.

What is Cupping Therapy?

Cupping therapy involves placing cups on the skin to create a vacuum. The suction can be achieved through heating the air inside the cup (fire cupping) or using a mechanical pump (vacuum cupping). The suction draws the skin and underlying tissues into the cup, promoting blood flow and facilitating healing.

Benefits of Cupping Therapy

  1. Pain Relief: Effective for treating chronic pain, muscle tension, and joint pain.

  2. Detoxification: Promotes the removal of toxins from the body by enhancing circulation.

  3. Stress Reduction: Induces relaxation and reduces stress levels.

Who Can Benefit from Cupping Therapy?

Cupping therapy is suitable for individuals experiencing chronic pain, muscle stiffness, respiratory issues, or those seeking a natural way to detoxify the body and reduce stress. It is a versatile treatment that can address a wide range of health concerns.
